Cursed Frequencies Award
An old and glorious legend tells that, at a specific time of year, the background noise of the airwaves conceals dark voices and presences. The activating stations are not mere operators, but "Entities" that have escaped from an ancient parallel dimension. Hunters are tasked with tracking down these entities on the 11m band and "capturing" them via QSOs to restore silence to the airwaves.

THE VAMPIRE: Creature of the night - 3 Points - Operates only from sunset to sunrise - Active in voice mode (USB) (Op. 14LE928 BRUNO callsign 14LE/CFA5)
THE ETHER DEMON: Wildcard Station - 10 Points - The event's flagship station - Active in voice mode (USB) (14LE1191 MANUEL callsign 14LE/D666)

Rules and Scoring
Event dates: The entire month of September 2026
Band: 11 meters
Modes: Voice and Digital.
"Double Strike" Rule: The same Entity may be contacted multiple times per day, provided different frequencies and different transmission modes are used. The "Witching Hour" Multiplier: Any QSO made after 21:00 doubles its point value.

Award Categories (The Prizes)
Hunters who accumulate enough points will be able to download their award in digital format (PDF or Ultra HD JPG). The levels reflect their "Survival" skills.
Survivor Level (Bronze): 20 Points. Demonstrates that the operator managed to survive the night.
Occult Hunter Level (Silver): 50 Points. Requires contacting at least 3 different Entities.
Aether Exorcist Level (Gold): 100 Points. Requires contacting all 5 basic Entities at least once.
"Lord of Darkness" Level (Platinum): 150 Points + all five Entities + a confirmed QSO with the Wildcard station "The Aether Demon."
