Nasiriyah attack
The Nasiriyah attacks were a series of attacks that took place between 2003 and 2006 during the Iraq war in the city of Nasiriyah against Italian armed forces participating in the military mission called "Operation Ancient Babylon", the most serious of which was the massacre of 12 November 2003 which caused 28 deaths (19 Italians).
