Castro Marina, here the boats seem to fly: it seems like a trick, but it's true!
Salento offers dream destinations for those who love the sea: in Castro Marina the water is so crystal clear that it makes the boats seem suspended. Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca we find Castro Marina, whose fame precedes it: The optical illusion is incredible and is due to the stark contrast between the literally crystalline water and the very white sand on the bottom. The shadows cast by the boats resting on the water make the atmosphere even more evocative, but Salento, as we know well, has always given us great emotions.
